Helen Kuykendall
Helen Kuykendall’s paintings combine the realism of landscapes with still life imagery to explore concepts of space, time and memory. The atmospheric images bring skies, clouds, fauna, environment and everyday objects into unlikely juxtapositions and transcendent visions. Her practice continues to evolve and her work is gaining attention in local juried shows and galleries and receiving critical praise in local news media. In February 2020, her painting was featured as the cover of Flagpole Magazine. Website: https://www.helenkstudio.com/ |

Paula Reynaldi
Puala Reynaldi was born and raised in Argentina, but has lived in Athens, Ga, for many years. She studied music in Buenos Aires and Iowa City and sculpture at the University of Georgia. She likes to explore the properties of very common and disposable materials (tape, Styrofoam bowls, balloons, and inexpensive school supplies). She wants to give these materials a second chance, discover what they can do if she gives them her time instead of discarding them too soon. She often creates her pieces through repetition and the expansion of small shapes, like cells growing in nature, in our bodies. Perhaps, as a musician, she finds that if she pays attention, she can hear each tiny shape’s rhythm of growing Website: www.paulareynaldi.com |

Mia York
Mia York’s thirst for knowledge has always been uppermost in her life. Creating art is a lifelong exploration that expands and engages both her mind and her soul. She thinks that it might stem from a curious nature that needs to be satisfied or an exploration of the endless possibilities that art provides. To finish a piece that came from somewhere inside of her is always a surprising process. |
