StudioFest is a day-long Athens-wide art and craft crawl. Think of it as PorchFest for artists of all kinds, shining a light on the creative community of Athens through opening artist studios, galleries, makers’ spaces, and pop-up exhibitions and markets to art lovers and explorers. The day-long art crawl will be free to the general public, with a map of all participating places available in print and online.

All artists, artisans, craftspeople, galleries, markets, and pop-up art offerings are encouraged to take part. Your studio or gallery may be your garage, your living room, a pop-up tent in your backyard or driveway, a rented space in a warehouse, or a trailer on the side of the road. Share your scene, sell art on your own terms, and get on the map!

GUIDELINES

• • Venues must be within the boundaries of Athens-Clarke County.
  • Artist studio schedule to be organized by geographic sectors with designated two-hour time slots. Presenting partners are welcome to remain open during preferred hours throughout the day.
  • Registrants will be informed with details of the event and preparations on or before April 25, 2026.
  • Studio artists and fee-paid venues will be provided with printed copies of the StudioFest Map for their visitors, and a yard sign to signal their location to visitors.
  • ATHICA will serve as home base for visitors to get maps and information as needed.
  • Participation fees support event promotion, printed materials, and ATHICA’s volunteer-led mission to support contemporary art in Athens.

Ways to Participate

Individual Artist Studio – Open your doors to visitors and share your creative process with the community. Your studio will be included on maps dispersed digitally and in print.

Artists’ Collective / Group Studio – Artists sharing a studio space can register together under a single fee.

Gallery / Creative Venue / Maker Space / Shop / Pop-Up – We are excited to welcome galleries, creative businesses, and makers spaces to participate in StudioFest as presenting partners! 

How to Join

Artist Studios 

• ATHICA Members — $15
• Non-Members — $45 (includes ATHICA membership for the rest of the year!)
• Artists’ Collective / Group Studio — $50

Presenting Partners — $100 and up

Galleries, Shops, Markets, Pop-Ups, Maker’s Spaces, and Creative Businesses, please register using the Presenting Partner Commitment Form . Higher sponsorship tiers are available if you are interested in added visibility through highlighted map listings, recognition on promotional materials leading up to the event, and even yearlong recognition at all ATHICA events!
