ATHICA presents New in Town, our 2026 inaugural Pulaski Street / Leathers Building exhibition featuring 11 first year graduate students from UGA’s Lamar Dodd School of Art. Come experience the newest group of artists to arrive in Athens, with works spanning media from sculpture to photography, jewelry, painting, and video. Each artist presents individual lines of inquiry, examining topics that include forensic science, aliveness, material form and dream, mysticism, Southern fatalism, environment and abstraction, institutional apathy, manual labor and digital systems, travel stories, and the history of painting.
