STUDIOFEST 2025 is the inaugural event in what is planned to be an annual happening on the first Saturday in May. Think of it as PorchFest for artists of all kinds, shining a light on the creative community of Athens through opening artist studios, galleries, makers’ spaces, and pop-up exhibitions and markets to art lovers and explorers. The day-long art crawl will be free to the general public, with a map of all participating places available in print and online. All artists, artisans, craftspeople, galleries, markets, and pop-up art offerings are encouraged to take part. Your studio or gallery may be your garage, your living room, a pop-up tent in your backyard or driveway, a rented space in a warehouse, or a trailer on the side of the road. All are welcome! We hope to make it bigger and better every year. Help us get it started in 2025!

• 2025 ATHICA Members receive a discounted registration fee of $15.00; non-member fee is $25.00. (Join ATHICA here.)
• DEADLINE: APRIL 20, 2025
• Your fee goes to support the event advertising and materials as well as to support ATHICA, your local all-volunteer, non-profit platform for free expression, supporting artists and art-lovers since 2001.
• Current plans call for the StudioFest Map and schedule to be organized by geographic sectors with designated timeslots; each registrant will be assigned a geographic sector and corresponding timeslot. In this way, artists can visit other places as well as host visitors. However, registrations may suggest another strategy for most effective touring.
• Registrants will be informed of their designed geographic sector and timeslot as well as details of the event and event preparations on or before April 25, 2025.
• Artists will be provided with 10 printed copies of the StudioFest Map for their visitors and a visual aid to signal their location to visitors.
• ATHICA will serve as home base for visitors to get maps and information as needed.
