Date/Time: Saturday, May 3, 2025, 10:00 AM-6:00 PM

Where:  All over Athens-Clarke County
What: StudioFest is a day-long Athens-wide art and craft crawl. Think of it as PorchFest for artists of all kinds, shining a light on the creative community of Athens through opening artist studios, galleries, makers’ spaces, and pop-up exhibitions and markets to art lovers and explorers. The day-long art crawl will be free to the general public, with a map of all participating places available in print and online.

All artists, artisans, craftspeople, galleries, markets, and pop-up art offerings are encouraged to take part. Your studio or gallery may be your garage, your living room, a pop-up tent in your backyard or driveway, a rented space in a warehouse, or a trailer on the side of the road. Share your scene and get on the map!

  • Individual Artist’s Studio (Map and Details in Guidebook): 2025 ATHICA Members $15.00; non-member $25. (Join ATHICA here.)
  • Artists’ Collective / Group Studio (Map and Details in Guidebook): $50
  • Locally-Made Shop/Market/Gallery/Museum/Pop-Up
    • Map Only: Free
    • Map and Details in Guidebook: $25
    • Presenting Partner Map, Details in Guidebook, Logo on all PR Materials:  $100

Fees go to support the event advertising and materials as well as to support ATHICA, your local all-volunteer, non-profit platform for free expression, supporting artists and art-lovers since 2001.

GUIDELINES | Get on the Map: Registration Form 

  • Deadline for venue registration:  April 20, 2025
  • Venues must be within the boundaries of Athens-Clarke County.  See yellow area on MAP.
  • Artist studio schedule to be organized by geographic sectors with designated two-hour time slots.
  • Other venues will be open during listed hours as provided in registration.
  • Registrants will be informed with details of the event and preparations on or before April 25, 2025.
  • Studio artists and fee-paid venues will be provided with 10 printed copies of the StudioFest Map for their visitors, a copy of the printed guide, and a visual aid to signal their location to visitors.
  • ATHICA will serve as home base for visitors to get maps and information as needed.
