CALL is an adventurous collaboration between local artists Jon Vogt (frog like leaf, Salmon Tubes), and Emmie Pierce (sweetearthflying, Wet Garden). The duo fearlessly manipulates temporal, timbral, and spatial dynamics to summon startlingly unconventional soundscapes that are equal parts anxious noise and harmonious tranquility.  For this performance, CALL will be both affecting and responding to live generated modular video synthesis by frequent co-conspirator Kyle MacKinnel.  It will be a treat for fans of electroacoustic body music, psychic interplay, intuitive cybernetics, free and easy wandering, and weird noises.

Joining Call will be

Klimchak is a composer, performer, multi-instrumentalist and improvisor creating electro-acoustic music for film, theater, dance and live performance.  His work focuses on  the intersection of chaos and order. His composer side builds elaborate structures of interlocking melody & rhythm. Then his performer side takes over and obliterates those structures with bursts of noise, random drones and slabs of spontaneous improvised sound. klimchakmusic.com

İpek Eginli is a Turkish-American experimental sound artist and pianist/improviser whose work blends electroacoustic free improvisation on piano, voice, modular synthesizers, and no-input mixing boards.  Her performances are often described as adventurous, daring, playful, and vibrant, shifting effortlessly between organic and mechanical sounds to evoke emotions ranging from tender and soft to dark and explosive

Iriamu is the founder of the community driven, socio-political party, the Freak Flag Freedom Party for Exploratory Creativity & Freedom of One’s Mind. Iriamu is a co-curator of Monday Night Creative Music Series, a weekly series hosted at Eyedrum Art and Music Gallery in Atlanta, GA. He is also a partner in the instrumental music festival, based in Atlanta, NoWordsATL.

Hamaixa – Ryan Schey. Based in Athens, Georgia, Hamaixa is Ryan’s electronic music project. He uses a custom modular synthesizer to explore a kaleidoscope of pulsing rhythms, fractured samples, and shifting textures—all anchored by a driving kick drum. IG: @hamaixa.athen
