Mutual Grit

May 22 @ 6:00 pm - June 30 @ 8:00 pm

With a specific focus on Georgia social Ecology, Mutual Grit hopes to shed light on local environment issues of pollution, habitat de-extrication, deforestation, and more. Social ecology aims to connect environmental concerns to societal structures and to investigate how social hierarchies impact the overall health of landscapes and their inhabitants. By starting conversations on these issues and interrogating the systems that perpetuate them, we can begin to advocate for change and solution.

Georgia artists are invited to submit works for consideration by May 16th, 2026 via online form and will be reviewed by ATHICA interns.

An opening reception will be held on May 22nd.
