ATHICA and our new Chase Park neighbors, Pixel & Ink are collaborating on a community coloring project! “Outside the Lines” will serve as a benefit for ATHICA’s educational programming and ACC public school arts programming! Pixel + Ink and ATHICA will be releasing quarterly coloring books (for all ages!) featuring drawings by local artists, each benefiting a different ACC public school. Volume 1 will benefit Clarke Middle School! ATHICA will be hosting an interactive coloring exhibit December 5th-13th. This exhibit will feature line drawings by some of the featured artists on our gallery walls! The public will then be invited to color them throughout the run of the exhibit.

ABOUT PIXEL & INK

Carolyn Crist, a freelance journalist, and Laulea Taylor, a restoration and photo editing expert, co-own Pixel & Ink Photo Boutique. They specialize in photo restoration (for mold, tears, aging), photo edits (beauty touchups, photo finishing for photographers, removal of an unwanted wedding guest), fine art reproductions (for artists to sell prints of their work), scanning of photos and negatives, and printing on archival paper and canvas.
