Glitter, matchbooks, a crab crawling across your hand. Even the sun and wind. The artists on view in Everything come together under a rainbow of material willingness. By remaining nimble, they keep the window open to unexpected collaborators and exciting twists. The result is a group of works ripe for looking and discovery.

I’m reminded of David Whyte’s poem “Everything is Waiting for You”. He writes:

Put down the weight of your aloneness and ease into the
conversation. The kettle is singing
even as it pours you a drink, the cooking pots
have left their arrogant aloofness and
seen the good in you at last. All the birds
and creatures of the world are unutterably
themselves. Everything is waiting for you.

I feel the works here have taken this to heart. Everything is waiting for you, if you only pay a little attention.
