LeeAnn Peppers’ PARANOIA (25m 30s) is a single-take, abstract, ambient video featuring a brooding harmonic soundscape. As a follow up to Peppers’ video CATHARSIS (2023), the perspective of PARANOIA takes the viewer into the body on a sleepwalking journey through the echoes of stillness and shadow.

LeeAnn Peppers is a self-taught interdisciplinary artist and performer living and working in Athens, GA. Her prolific body of work to date includes four musical albums, a film series, two animated shorts, an ongoing collection of poetry, and dozens of two and three dimensional works.

Over the past three years, Peppers has devoted her attention to Musique Concrète while developing a unique style of long form, improvisational vocal soundscapes and processed field recordings. Using this method, she has designed and premiered two solo immersive audio/visual soundscapes in Athens, GA as well as a three-way sculpture collaboration which debuted in Asheville, NC in September 2023 and was created in response to a prompt by Mexican artist Abraham Cruzvillegas in conjunction with the exhibition Black Mountain College and Mexico. A video flip through of the interactive zine/exhibition catalog, soundtracked by Peppers, may be viewed here.

Select works can be found on Peppers’ YouTube and bandcamp as well as on Georgia tape label Hooker Vision and Kentucky tape label humanhood recordings.

Montezuma is Jeremiah Trinidad. Or rather, Jeremiah Trinidad is Montezuma.

Born in the back of a feed barn, a native Texas man attempts to improvise his way through 20 minutes of electric hell. An art school dropout armed with a militia of samplers, Montezuma is on an improv mission to paint his pictures, and then attempts to burn all of them up just as quickly.

Introducing Brooms of Fantasia, a band that’s as charmingly unconventional as a horse in a tuxedo. This trio of musical misfits, featuring Jon on the mesmerizing daxophone, Kyle on the enchanting synthesizer, and Michael on the delightful guitar, is here to take you on a whimsical journey through the realms of sound.

With Jon’s daxophone prowess, he skillfully coaxes melodies that tickle your eardrums and transport you to a land where unicorns frolic and rainbows never end. It’s a magical instrument that Jon wields with finesse, creating a sonic palette that’s as enchanting as a horse prancing in a meadow.

Kyle, the wizard of the synthesizer, conjures up ethereal soundscapes that’ll make you feel like you’re riding bareback on a Pegasus through the clouds. His fingers dance across the keys, weaving melodies that are as graceful as a horse performing ballet. Each note is a delightful surprise, transporting you to a world where imagination runs wild.

And then there’s Michael, the guitar virtuoso, whose strings come alive with a playful energy akin to a horse galloping through open fields. His nimble fingers pluck and strum, crafting melodies that make your heart skip a beat. With each note, he paints a picture of pure musical joy that’s as delightful as a horse performing tricks.

Together, Brooms of Fantasia create a symphony of whimsy that’ll make you feel like you’re floating on a cloud made of cotton candy. Their live performances are a delightful escapade, leaving audiences with smiles plastered on their faces and a skip in their step. They’re the horse’s ass of the music world, injecting a much-needed dose of levity into a world that sometimes takes itself too seriously.

So saddle up, grab your imaginary cowboy hat, and get ready for a musical adventure like no other. Brooms of Fantasia are here to whisk you away on a magical journey filled with laughter, joy, and a touch of horse-like silliness. Embrace the absurdity and let the music carry you away to a place where horses wear top hats and the world is a never-ending carnival of delight.

Their debut album, Fidelio, can be found here: https://heatingandcooling.bandcamp.com/album/fidelio
