Confluence 2: CCSD High School Student Pop-Up Exhibition @ATHICA

Opening Reception:  Saturday, March 23, 5-7pm

ATHICA is delighted to present an exhibition of work by the high school student artists in the Clarke County School District.  Coordinated by the Arts Faculty of Clarke Central and Cedar Shoals High Schools and the Fine Arts Curriculum Coordinator, the exhibition is presented as part of National Youth Art Month, an annual observance in March that celebrates the importance of art education and encourages the creative expression of young people.

Gallery Hours:
Thursday, March 21: 4-8 PM for Third Thursday
Friday, March 22: 4-6 PM
Saturday March 23: Reception 5-7 PM
Sunday March 24: 1-6 PM
Wednesday March 27: 4-6 PM

Confluence 2 is in conjunction with the annual CCSD Youth Art Month Art Exhibition — showcasing the creativity and talent of youth artists from all grade levels across the district at the Lamar Dodd School of Art at the University of Georgia, 270 River Rd. A reception honoring the student-artists who contributed to the exhibition and their teachers is planned for 1-3 p.m. March 24 at the School of Art. The exhibition runs through March 31. Normal Dodd gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Click here for more information, including directions and parking information.
