ATHICA invites you to the closing reception of Athens Pride and Queer Collective Pop-Up show on Sunday, April 5th from 4 – 6 pm. Honor the queer stories of Athens’ queer artists and join a fundraiser supporting APQC’s Gender Affirming Care Grant.

The Gender-Affirming Care Grant provides financial support to transgender and gender-expansive Georgians seeking gender-affirming surgeries and related medical care. This program exists to reduce the financial barriers that often delay or prevent individuals from accessing procedures that are essential to their health, safety, and well-being.

Since launching the program, APQC has awarded over $50,000 directly to community members in need. These grants help cover costs related to surgical procedures that insurance may not fully support — or may not cover at all.
