Doom Ribbons opens followed by improv with George Davidson and Emmie Pierce
Saxophonist George Davidson has been performing punk jazz, free and improvisational music in Athens since 1980. Recordings on Bandcamp can be found under:

Emmie Pierce is a Georgia-based guitarist, synthesist and electroacoustic improviser. Her guitar performances combine an expressive use of harmony with novel manipulations of found objects and electronics to create real time musical collages. Bandcamp: Sweetearthflying (Emmie Pierce)
The opening act that night features the return of Doom Ribbons with a completely new set. Doom Ribbons is the sound project of James Owen. Using drums, percussion, xylophone, synthesizer, clarinet, guitar, home-made instruments, voice, found objects, field recordings and samples, Doom Ribbons creates dark ambient rock, atmospheric soundscapes, and immersive drones.
