    Come join us for the second summertime ATHICA Emerges exhibition, introducing Athens to exciting new work by three emerging local artists--large-scale mixed media paintings by Jon Barwick, sculptural installations by Kim Deakins and photography by Rylan Steele. These artists were selected from over a dozen entries reviewed by first-time curator, Maria Lundin, a local art historian and lecturer. This summer’s exhibition is unified by the three artists' shared interest in creating and depicting space, whether that space be interior, exterior, or abstract. Although employing different media, each artist considers the way we, as viewers, interact with the space surrounding us.
